NOTICE OF MEETING
In accordance with Article 2, Section 2.3 of the Bylaws, you are hereby notified of the Annual Meeting of the Peace Plantation I (Cascades Park) Homeowners Association. The purpose of the meeting is to elect the Board of Directors.
Please find an agenda and proxy form enclosed. Due to the ongoing pandemic, the meeting will be held via Zoom. Please use the below link to join the meeting:

Please be aware that no Association business may be conducted, including election of Board Members, without a quorum. In order to ensure quorum of 10% of the members eligible to vote, either in person or by proxy, all homeowners are urged to attend this meeting or send in their proxy if you are unable to attend.
If you cannot attend the meeting, please complete the enclosed Proxy Form and return to SFMC (Cascades Park HOA, Inc. C/o SFMC, Inc., 9464 Innovation Drive, Manassas, VA 20110 Attn: Larry Gilbert) or appoint another person as your proxy holder. If you return a proxy to SFMC and do attend, your proxy will be returned to you at the time of registration.
In order for proxies to be valid they must be filled in completely, dated and signed by an Owner of Record. Incomplete proxies will not be counted for quorum or election results. Proxy Forms may be mailed to SFMC at the address listed above or your appointed proxy holder can hand carry the proxy to the meeting. Proxies must be turned in before the start of the meeting.
All proxies returned to SFMC will be counted for quorum purposes only, unless specific candidate(s) are selected under the Instructed section of the Proxy Form. Write-ins on the Proxy Form are not valid and will not be counted.
If you choose to appoint a proxy holder, you may indicate whom the proxy holder must vote for or indicate that the proxy holder may vote for any candidate he/she chooses. If allowing someone else to cast your vote, please select your proxy holder carefully to ensure they vote according to your wishes.
The enclosed agenda outlines the activities of the Meeting as prescribed in the Bylaws. While it is essential to complete the election of the Board of Directors during this meeting, it is also desired to have sufficient opportunity for discussion, questions and answers. Your cooperation is requested in order to help ensure that the meeting is run smoothly and efficiently.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR PROXIES
1. USE THE PROXY CARD ONLY IF YOU CANNOT ATTEND THE MEETING AND VOTE IN PERSON.
2. THE PROXY CARD SHOULD BE SIGNED BY ALL OWNERS OF RECORD OF THE LOT(S), BUT SIGNATURE OF ONE OWNER IS SUFFICIENT.
3. THE PROXY CARD WILL BE RETURNED TO YOU IF YOU ATTEND THE MEETING.
4. Print your name and address CLEARLY.
5. CLEARLY print the name of the person you wish to designate as your proxy holder.
6. Please select either uninstructed or instructed.
7. Mail the proxy card to SFMC at:
